Our Purpose
The Bharat Scouts and Guides is a Voluntary Organisation. It is non -political, Non Military, Secular and Non Communal Organisation. It is an Educational Movement for young people, open to all, without distinction of origin, race or Creed in accordance with the guiding principles of our Founder Lord Baden Powell, connected to the basic principles of Scouting & Guiding. In other words, Scouting/Guiding is a way of life. This concept is very much translated into action in to-to with Sri Chamundi Scout Group.
The purpose of Sri Chamundi Scout Group in general, is to contribute to the Development of young people by training as per the Rules of The Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Head Quarters, New Delhi, and A.P.R.O (Aims, Policy, Rules and Organisation).
Our Principles
Sri Chamundi Scout Group is based on the following Principles in accordance with the rules laid by the National Headquarters, The Bharat Scouts & Guides, New Delhi.

Our History
Sri Chamundi Scout Group, very familiarly known as 21st Bangalore, started its mission as early as in the year 1918, at a place called Sigebeli, in Chamarajpet, Bangalore.
Our Founder
Scouting was founded by Lord Baden Powell of Gilwell in 1907. Sri Chamundi Scout Group was founded by MHR, hailed as “Baden Powell of Karnataka” in the year 1918.
