Sri Chamundi Scout Group is based on the following Principles in accordance with the rules laid by the National Headquarters, The Bharat Scouts & Guides, New Delhi.
Duty To God
Adherence to Secular Principles, Loyalty to the religion one belongs, acceptance of the duties, resulting in tolerance to other Religions and Dharma.
Duty To Others
Loyalty to one’s Country with the promotion of local, State, National and International Peace, understanding and encouraging Youngsters to develop Patriotism and duty consciousness. To be an Integral part of the Community as per WOSM & WAGGGS.
Duty To Self
Commitment to adhere to the Fundamentals of the Movement with Youngsters in focus, contemplating on developing self development, self reliance and the concept of duty first.
Method
Following the Fundamentals, helping the young children with their experience and expertise to guide them on moral grounds, understand the Law and Promise and interpret them with personal examples to help realize the SCOUT/GUIDE SPIRIT in daily life. To be Community oriented and practice the Scout Spirit.
